Following the fall in Genesis chapter three we see that the original marriage arrangement between one man & one woman quickly begins to change shape. By Geneses 4:19 we find Lamech, Adam & Eve’s great great grandson, marrying two women. This begins a long history of various examples of polygamy in the Old Testament, which God never out rightly condemns. Does this create a problem for the traditional Christian view of marriage between one man & one woman? And if God was willing to allow polygamy in the Old Testament does this mean he might be willing for marriage to be redefined in other ways today? This message seeks to explore & answer such questions.
