Amazing Grace is a Christian church in Westport, Co. Mayo on the beautiful west coast of Ireland. We exist to help plant the good news of Jesus in hearts & communities. It's been said that people can survive without almost anything apart from hope, we passionately believe the good news of Jesus provides much needed hope for every human heart. This is why our desire is to reach out and welcome others with the same amazing grace we have found in Jesus. We aim to be a friendly fellowship where people can come as they are, with their questions, and journey with us as we trust and follow Jesus together.
Amazing Grace is an Elim Pentecostal Church, known as Elim Ministries in the Republic of Ireland. Elim is a movement of Christian churches working in the UK & Ireland as well as in over 40 other nations around the world. Elim was the name of an oasis in the Bible which the people of Israel discovered as they wandered through the desert (Ex 15:27). It provided shade and refreshment to all who encountered it. We believe every local church is called to be an oasis of God's amazing grace within their community.
